Bug affects camera downloads to storage

HTC's Evo 4G smartphone is already facing a glitch reportedly related to the included SD cards. Many users claim to experience problems when attempting to save camera photos to the storage, which sometimes leads to an error message for "insufficient permissions."

HTC spokesperson Keith Nowak acknowledged the issue in a statement posted by Wired. Nowak plays down suggestions that it is a widespread problem, but rather an issue that the company has seen "crop up intermittently."

The company is said to have identified the cause, with a software solution expected to be distributed "very shortly" in an over-the-air update.
