Innoversal shows tablet with Pixel Qi screen

At Computex, a company called Innoversal is showing off a 10.1-inch Windows tablet with a Pixel Qi 3qi display. Called Lattice, the tablet has a resolution of 1024x600 and is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom CPU. The screen's nature allows users to turn off the backlight, so the device functions nearly like an e-paper display device, extending the six-cell battery life.

Storage comes from a solid state drive ranging from 16GB to 64GB in capacity, and there is support for SDHC memory cards up to 8GB in capacity. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 3G modem are onboard. Buyers will be able to choose from Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS as the platform. An 8-megapixel camera is built-in, as is a mini USB port.

When the Lattice will be released and what it will cost remains to be known. [via Liliputing]
