BBerry 9800 gets clearer closer to launch

The BlackBerry 9800 got its most vivid picture yet through details from a new Chinese hands-on with the phone. Besides looking considerably better than in earlier photos, touchscreen slider is due to get 512MB of RAM and will definitely drop SurePress in favor of touch alone. Its processor isn't known but is likely to be faster to handle BlackBerry OS 6.0.

RIM's new design was already known to have a 5-megapixel camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, GPS and multi-touch input. It's already known to be headed to AT&T, but there weren't any signs with the latest scoop that the 9800 would reach T-Mobile or international carriers just yet. All major Canadian and European carriers are very likely targets. [via CrackBerry]
