Samsung Restore arrives at Sprint on Sunday

Sprint said today it will launch the eco-friendly Samsung Restore on Sunday, June 6. Introduced at the end of April, the handset will sport a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a two-megapixel camera, a microSDHC slot, a 2GB card and stereo Bluetooth.

Its casing is made from 27 percent recycled plastic, with 84 percent of the handset being recyclable. The owner's manual is available online, and packaging for the device is made from recycled materials and can be recycled itself. As promised earlier, it will cost $50 on a new two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. It will be available in black or green.
