Google Maps will preview Gmail, Buzz addresses

Google is continuing to tie in its mobile services together, with a Monday update that previews maps of addresses sent through Gmail and Google Buzz. Before, users were forced to copy and paste addresses into Google Maps. Users need to enable Google Maps previews in mail in their Gmail settings, and will then receive a preview with a controllable map of that location.

The new functionality will bring up a map preview of an address users paste in as a Google Maps link into the Google Buzz box. Thus far, only US addresses are recognized, though as usual, Google is working on a global application of the system.
