Nokia C7 with 8MP cam, multi-touchscreen leaked
Nokia may soon be releasing a flagship C-series phone, the C7, based on leaked images shown here. The images come just one day after another leak that showed a Nokia handset hierarchy, which included the C7 at the top of the C-series range. Along with the photos, it's believed the C7 will sport a full touchscreen and an 8-megapixel camera, a combination that's a first in Nokia phones.
The camera is said to have a dual LED flash and face recognition capability, while the capacitive touchscreen should have multi-touch support and be sized at or near 3.5 inches. While there is some controversy on the preloaded OS, most sources point to the fifth edition of the existing S60 platform. As the C series is Nokia's all-around offering it may not need to go to Symbian^3, but such a move would leave out multi-touch.
From the photos, the handset will have a mini USB jack along with a 3.5mm headset jack. A Wi-Fi radio, GPS sensor and maybe even Bluetooth 3.0 may be included in the specs as well. [via Digi-Tech]
