JooJoo works well with Windows 7 hack

A member of the Joojoo forum has developed, tested and posted a downloadable Windows 7 driver for the Joojoo tablet. Various other users have also installed it and are reporting on their experiences, with 720p MKV video playback possible without any choppiness and smooth OS operation on the system with 1GB of RAM and a 4GB SSD. The touchscreen is also working perfectly, including a virtual keyboard, though the accelerometer function is not.

The Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Home 7 builds also support the light sensor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 1.3-megapixel camera features, though the 3G data connection for mobile roaming is not working. The forum notes that the suspend and wake-up features work as well and that 1GB of space is left over without loading the swap or hibernation file onto the 4GB machine.

The Joojoo tablet uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom, a 12-inch touchscreen with 720p resolution and a proprietary OS.
