Samsung Android tablet may be speedy

Samsung's Galaxy Tab may be a high-end device based on a leak today. Vietnam's frequent scoop provider Tinh te suggests it will be very fast with a 1.2GHZ ARM Cortex-A8 processor, making it faster than the Galaxy S. It should be the first Samsung device to carry Android 2.2 and will get an e-book reader app with magazine content.

The tablet should have a relatively large 4,000mAh battery and should be advanced in other areas. Samsung's Super AMOLED will help outdoor visibility, and the 16GB of internal space will be braced by a microSDHC slot to add as much as another 32GB of storage.

The Galaxy Tab, possibly called the "Galaxy Tape," could ship as early as August. [via Engadget]
