Zuckerberg says iPhone 3GS has poor battery life

Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive of Facebook, announced on his social networking page that the iPhone 3GS has poor battery life. According to the post, Zuckerberg put down his BlackBerry in order to try out an Apple handset. The executive tried the device after complaining that the QWERTY keys on the BlackBerry hurt his thumbs.

Despite his reservations, Zuckerberg says he will likely choose to go with the Apple device over an Android phone to replace his BlackBerry. [via VentureBeat]

    Like he's one to talk...

The Facebook iPhone app is the biggest POS app I've ever owned on any platform. Maybe that's the reason his battery is dying an early death.

    fact checking.

would it hurt to do a little fact checking before posting a PATENTLY untrue story?

according to Gawker who have a link to the FACEBOOK COMMENT THREAD, someone responded to Zuckerdurk™'s whining with "right before iPhone 4?" and Zuckerdurk™ said "My thumbs were hurting from my blackberry so i switched. I'll probably get iPhone 4 if I don't switch to Android".

just because the d00sh is the CEO of facebook doesn't mean he automatically gets the iPhone early...

    Slam on AT&T

I read his comment as more of a slam on AT&T, with the landline remark. Also, if you are in an area with a lot of 3G contention, the battery dies very, very quickly. Again, AT&T's lack of capacity in the greater SF Bay area is hurting the iPhone.

What surprises me more is that he doesn't already have a slew of iPhones, Blackberries, and Android phones. It isn't like he can't afford the data plans.

    Big Bucket of FAIL

Wow, a half-hashed out of context repost of a douchebag article on Gawker about a douchebag who hates Apple and can't hire competent iPhone programmers to work on his buggy iPhone crApp.

This whole 'story' is just a big butterknife of FAIL on burned toast. What next, slashdotting?
