Latest Android handset aimed at low end market
Sources said on Tuesday that the Sony Ericsson's latest low cost Android handset, nicknamed Shakira, will be dubbed the Xperia X8. The X8 is slightly smaller than the Xperia X10. The touchscreen on the X8 is also smaller with lower resolution, although better than that of the X10 mini.
Not much else is known about the mid-size phone, but it should have Sony Ericsson's customized MediaScape and TimeScape interfaces along with a relatively strong camera. [via SE-NSE]
