Olympus outs waterproof, entry-level digital cameras

Olympus shows X-560WP, T100 digital cameras
Olympus has unveiled two new digital cameras on Tuesday, the the waterproof, 10-megapixel X-560WP and the entry-level, 12-megapixel T100. The former can capture photos at depths of up to 10 feet, and carries automatic scene detection, face detection up to 16 faces and an auto-correction mode to improve shadows or red eye.
It otherwise has AF tracking and a 3X optical zoom. Digital image stabilization is built-in and there are 18 shooting modes. SD and xD memory cards store content. The camera is available for $160.
The T100 also has a 3X optical zoom and AF tracking; its face detection tracks as many as 12 faces. The photos are framed and viewed on a 2.4-inch LCD. Videos record at VGA resolution. Either new camera has a built-in help guide. Pricing for the T100 hasn't been revealed. [via LetsGoDigital]
