Best Buy confirms second Evo 4G color

After a quick leak earlier today, Best Buy has detailed its plans for a white HTC Evo 4G. The color will be an exclusive for the store chain and should reach both the online and physical stores July 11. It will cost $200 on a Sprint contract; Best Buy doesn't mention the exclusive's end date, but it should reach other stores by September.

The launch is one of the few for a high-end white phone outside of the iPhone in recent years, as most companies either don't care to or can't justify offering a second color.

The Evo 4G is the same in either white or the original black and specializes in its built-in WiMAX access. At 4.3 inches, the display is one of the largest in the US and is supported by a 1GHz processor, a front camera and a rear eight-megapixel camera.
