Firmware update coming to Evo 4G on Monday

The HTC Evo 4G will soon be receiving its first firmware update, according to a Sprint contact talking today. Due for a release on June 28, the update is said by BGR to improve the handset's Wi-Fi performance, make various Exchange Active Sync enhancements and a social networking sync with Facebook change that mainly improves battery life.

The Exchange Active Sync changes will fix issues related to setting up a new account, PIN policy usage and Exchange Server 2010 Calendar Sync. HTC's update is not confirmed, but it is very likely as the new handset is due for its first maintenance upgrade.
