Photo Gallery, Movie Maker improved
As promised, Microsoft has released the full series of Windows Live Essentials betas. The company has made improvements to the full range of utilities, with tighter social networking integration in Photo Gallery and Messenger.
The company has focused on significant enhancements to the Photo Gallery app, which now allows users to create composite images or process files using batch editing. Facebook support extends beyond photo uploads, enabling tag imports from content already posted to the site.
Movie Maker offers an AutoMovie feature that adds themes, transitions, effects, titles and other elements. The new Live Sync utility allows users to share content between Macs and Windows PCs, or remotely control a PC from a web browser.
The Windows Live Essentials betas are now available as free downloads for Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
