App sat unapproved for a month

MOG's streaming music service is finally set to arrive on the iPhone and Roku player. The iPhone app was recently approved, but only after being stalled in the App Store approval process for more than a month. Earlier previews indicate the app will allow users to download entire albums and create radio stations automatically filled with content similar to certain artists on songs.

The Roku partnership will allow users to access MOG services directly from a Roku set-top box. The service will be available to Roku customers for $5 per month, although customers can pay $10 per month for universal access on their Roku player, desktop computer or mobile app.

Despite the iPhone app approval, MOG is waiting until later in July to add the app to the App Store. The iPhone launch will arrive alongside a comparable offering for Android devices. [via TechCrunch]
