Netflix hiring Android developers

Netflix once again posts job ad for Android dev

According to a new Netflix job posting, the video-on-demand service is, once again, looking to hire an Android Video Playback Expert. The post has triggered speculation that the expected Netflix Android app is delayed, and it's unknown whether previous recruiting attempts were effective.

The text of the ad has changed somewhat, though the company is still looking for someone to help build an instant streaming client. There is now a list of requirements, which includes over 10 years of software development and a deep understanding of media playback on the Android platform. Copy protection is likely as experience with DRM is considered a bonus. [via Nerdcast]
