New features said to be coming in OTA update

The Droid Incredible may be set for an update that will bring more than just an interface overhaul. A user with an HTC-branded test device allegedly received an over-the-air update adding support for 720p video recording and mobile hotspot tethering via Wi-Fi.

An interface image appears to show 720p listed in the recording options, while a YouTube video suggests the update will also add a new Droid-theme animation during the boot sequence.

Although the source claims the update was distributed to the test device last week, details surrounding a public roll-out remain unclear. [via AndroidGuys]
