Client finally out of beta development

Twitter has finally launched an app for BlackBerries, following several months of beta development. The utility provides a range of Twitter features including timelines, replying, retweeting and following. Users can tweet photos or links, sign up for Trending Topics updates, or search content using a variety of criteria.

During the beta, Twitter added the ability to auto-complete usernames, quote tweets, and view photos from Yfrog or Tweetphoto. The app also supports geotagged tweets and hotkeys for navigation.

The full launch of Twitter for BlackBerry will begin Tuesday evening, with updates distributed through the next day to beta participants.
