ASUS Eee PC 1015P, 1016P, 1018P now up for pre-order

New aluminum bodied Eee PCs up for pre-order
The three upcoming aluminum-bodied ASUS Eee PC netbooks are now up for pre-order at online retailer Excaliber PC. According to the web pages, the 1015PED starts at $349, the 1016P will cost $499 and the 1018P is priced at $429. All are expected to ship on July 29.
All are powered by the same 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455, sport a 10.1-inch screen with 1024x600 resolution, and have integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. The Eee PC 1015P has 1GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive. The 1016P gets 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 320GB hard drive.
The Eee PC 1018P alone gets three USB 3.0 ports and a fingerprint scanner. It otherwise has a 250GB hard drive and 1GB of DDR3 RAM.
