Dell Mini 3v handset for Chinese market leaks
Chinese mobile regulating body TENAA has prematurely released photos and some specs of an upcoming Dell smartphone. The Dell Mini 3v is expected to support China Mobile's TD-SCDMA network, along with GSM networks, including HSDPA. Otherwise, the photos show that the Mini 3v will have a 5-megapixel camera with flash, and possibly a front-facing camera.
Instead of Wi-Fi, China's native WAPI wireless standard is supported, and the China-exclusive CMMB digital TV tuner is onboard as well.
The phone resembles an upgraded version of the Mini 3i already on sale in China. The 3i gets a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 640x360 resolution, but no 3G support and also lacks Wi-Fi. There is a three-megapixel camera and microSDHC storage onboard, however. It also support North American GSM calls and EDGE data. Both run on Android. [via Engadget]
