UK's 3 gets cheapest Android phone with ZTE Racer

Phone maker ZTE has brought its first Android-powered handset to UK provider 3 this week. The Racer also has the distinction of being the first Android phone to cost less than £100 (about $150) at 3 when contract-free. The phone is powered by Android 2.1 and gets a 2.8-inch, 320x240 touchscreen display.

It also has 256MB of RAM and supports 7.2Mbps 3G networks. A 3.2-megapixel camera and Bluetooth are built-in as well. 3 ships the device with a Spotify Premium streaming music subscription ready to go. If or when it arrives in North America remains unknown, though ZTE only occasionally offers phones to the US or Canada. [via Pocket-Lint]
