HTC Droid Incredible getting Android 2.2 soon
The HTC Droid Incredible may get the update to Android 2.2 as soon as the end of July or the start of August, HTC apparently wrote in an e-mail to a customer. The update will bring with it 802.11n Wi-Fi, 3G mobile hotspot support, 720p video recording and more. Users will also now have a new e-mail and news widget from HTC, access to Amazon's MP3 music store and a Skype app.
Users will have access to My Verizon and EAS updates after the firmware is released.
Some of these features have been spotted earlier in an alleged early update to a prototype Incredible. The Droid Incredible has sold out multiple times at Verizon as a result of high demand and a supply shortage of its advanced AMOLED screen. [via BGR]
