Pogoplug Biz for small businesses to cost $299
Cloud Engines has announced a new network drive sharing device, the Pogoplug Biz. As the name implies, the device differs from the original by catering to small businesses, with the option of using their own domain names, customizing the user interface and e-mail templates. The Pogoplug Biz can connect up to four external hard drives to the Internet, and keeps track of the visits, streams and downloads of hosted files.
Owners can also create custom e-mail addresses that let clients e-mail files directly to the Pogoplug. Mobile printing is also enabled, and multiple users can access the device at once. There is a remote backup feature built-in as well. A Web View-only sharing option lets users show files over the web without allowing viewers to access them.
The Pogoplug Biz can now be preordered for $299, or more than double the regular Pogoplug's $129 list price.
