Verizon set to launch LTE in 30 markets by Nov 15?

Two data cards expected to be ready for launch

Corroborating earlier reports, Verizon is allegedly set to launch its commercial 4G LTE network in select cities before November 15. The service will be activated alongside two data cards, likely including the LG VL600 USB modem, an unnamed source has told Engadget.

While an earlier leak suggested the initial deployment would be limited to 25 markets, the latest source claims the service will be available in over 30 markets across the country. Locations include big cities such as New York and LA, along with ten airports.

Verizon's plans for 4G phones remain unclear, although the company is rumored to release a variety of devices on Black Friday, November 26.
