Acer Liquid Stream arrives at UK retailer

UK electronics retailer Expansys is offering Acer's Liquid Stream smartphone, first introduced in May. This is the first appearance of the advanced handset in stores, which revolves around a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and Android 2.1. It also has a 3.7-inch OLED touchscreen with an 800x480 resolution and a five-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p HD videos.

The Liquid Stream handset has tri-band HSPA 3G access, Wi-Fi and an FM tuner, along with a GPS sensor. It has 2GB of onboard memory along with a microSD memory card slot. Expansys is selling the unlocked handset for the equivalent of $610. The device was rumored to arrive in North America in October. [via RegHardware]
