Shuttle PC has support for Intel Core CPUs

Shuttle has revealed its newest compact barebones PC, the XPC Barebone SH55J2. It is the first with support for all socket 1156 Core variants, including Intel's Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 chips. It is also compatible with the onboard GPUs found in some Core i3 and Core i5 chips.

The new XPC has both HDMI and VGA outputs, and a PCI Express socket can accommodate a dual-slot discrete graphics card. There are nine USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo connection and both analog as well as optical audio outputs. A gigabit Ethernet and a multi-format memory card are likewise accounted for.

The inside has a 3.5-inch hard-drive bay and a 5.25-inch optical drive bay. A 300W power supply is inside, and a heatpipe cooling system is inside as well. The SH55J2 is now shipping in Europe, priced at the equivalent of $320. [via SlashGear]
