inPulse watch for BlackBerries now in assembly

The inPulse smartwatch for BlackBerry handsets is ready to be assembled, as the necessary parts have shipped, its maker mannounced. The device will link up with BlackBerry smartphones using Bluetooth and will display caller IDs, e-mail and text message headers, and manage alarms without touching their phones. The watch stops short of acting like a headset, however.

After the watches are assembled, testing still needs to be done, and inPulse is not providing a ship date in order to keep from disappointing customers again. The device was promised to be out this past February. It can be preordered, however, for $149. [via SlashGear]
