T-Mobile confirms first 21Mbps phone to be HTC's

T-Mobile gave away some of the details of its first HSPA+ phone through a teaser page. Although the company itself is vague, multiple points in the HTML source code refer to "Vanguard," one of the codenames for the G1 Blaze. The carrier didn't slip clues as to a launch date other than later in the year.

The G1 Blaze has alternately been known as the HTC Vision and might connect at 3G speeds up to 21Mbps depending on the hardware. It could also be a showcase for Android 3.0 and carry a dual-core 800MHz processor. Other rumors have pointed to it carrying a 3.7-inch LCD. [via TMoNews]
