Palm-sized Modu phone with Android OS spotted

The long-rumored Android-powered phone from Modu may soon become reality, as a tiny version has been spotted in photos and a video. Known for its modular phones, with jackets that embed the core device with added functions, the company's first Android device has Wi-Fi but no 3G data network access. A stylus is included, suggesting the device sports a resistive touchscreen rather than a capacitive one.

Other features include an FM radio, though a headset for its cable to act as an antenna needs to be plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack. A microSD memory card slot is integrated as well. The device seems to be running Android 1.5 or 1.6.

No other information is known about what is believed to be a prototype, and when the product launches also remains to be seen. [via Phandroid]
