Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin and Vodafone OK Torch
In the wake of the BlackBerry Torch launch this morning, multiple Canadian carriers and at least one European carrier have promised to pick up RIM's touch slider. Bell, Rogers, Telus and Virgin Mobile will all have the device. Most of them will only commit to a launch in "coming weeks," but Bell has said it expects the Torch in the fall.
Vodafone, meanwhile, has confirmed a similar timetable for at least a UK release. Other European carriers are currently silent. The phone that ships to these countries will be identical to the one shipping to AT&T, as it already supports their 3G frequencies. All versions will have a 3.2-inch, 480x360 display, a five-megapixel camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and 8GB of total storage mated with the new BlackBerry 6 platform.
