MSI brings thin P600, S6000 notebooks to North America

MSI P600, S6000 notebooks arrive in North America
MSI has brought two of its Professional-series notebooks to North America, the 15.6-inch S6000 and P600. The P600 was introduced in March and is the higher-end of the two by virtue of an eight-cell battery that provides up to eight hours of battery life. The S6000 gets a four-cell battery, which helps is pare down weight to 5lbs versus the P600's 5.3lbs.
Either is powered by a 2.53GHz Core i5 and gets 4GB of RAM. Other common specs include a 500GB hard drive preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, a 720p display, and dual-layer DVD drives. Intel's integrated graphics handle video duties.
The P600 is now available for order from Amazon, priced at nearly $730. The S6000 should be arriving in stores now at a cost of $800 or less.
