FCC reveals Samsung Cetus to support AT&T bands

Some new information was gleaned on the upcoming Samsung Cetus Windows Phone 7 smartphone. Thanks to an FCC filing, it's now known that the handset will have support for the 850MHz and 1900MHz 3G bands, both of which are needed for AT&T. From previous reports, the Cetus is known to sport a four-inch AMOLED (possibly Super AMOLED) 800x480 display, a five-megapixel back camera and possibly a front camera.

The handset will otherwise get 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM Radio and a microSD card slot. While launch dates for the handset at AT&T are not yet known, the FCC approval puts it closer to launch. Windows Phone 7 is due to launch in the fall and should reach the US in November.
