Verbatim bringing out leather-lined Wallet Drive
Verbatim will soon release a Wallet Drive that resembles a brown or black leather billfold. When it arrives at an unspecified date, it should be available in 320 or 500GB capacities. It will contain Nero BackitUp and Burn software, along with a Turbo USB program that should help speed up transfer speeds.
Pricing for the Wallet Drive hasn't been announced, but it may not necessarily carry a significant premium over a metal-enclosed drive. Verbatim's drives typically work with both Macs and Windows PCs, but the Nero software is Windows-only. [via ChipChick]

I am no vegan, but this is just a dumb idea. Insulation for the hard drive. Thanks, but no thanks.
