Samsung Galaxy S accessories revealed

Samsung has revealed four accessories for the Galaxy S. Among the group are a leather belt clip, multimedia dock, vehicle dock and backup battery charging system. The desktop dock chargest the handset and turns it into either a digital photo frame or a desktop speakerphone for hands-free calls.

An app called Desk Home can switch brightness levels from day to night and has one-touch shortcuts to the Daily Briefing, alarm clock, music, pictures, movie gallery and local weather.

The leather case can be had in black or red, and sports a magnetic clasp and spring-loaded belt clip.

The portable vehicle dock can attach either to a windshield or dashboard, and displays turn-by-turn navigation instructions. Google Search by Voice features work when the phone is docked. A micro USB connection powers it up while still docked.

The charger bundle includes an extra 1,500mAh battery, a pocket-sized charger with phone stand and a wall charger for charging the phone and extra battery separately.

The case and dock are priced at $40, but no prices are known for the battery charger or car dock. All should work with the common Galaxy S versions, including the Captivate, Fascinate and Vibrant. It's unknown if Sprint's Epic 4G will fit due to the keyboard.
