Logitech MK520 combo nets long battery life

Logitech has launched its latest keyboard and mouse combo in the MK520. The low-profile keyboard centers on media controls and batteries that last for up to three years. The full-size, ambidextrous laser mouse also claims an estimated one-year battery life.

The combo attaches to a computer with Logitech’s small 2.4GHz Unifying Receiver, which can stay in a notebook when on the move, or in a desktop computer. Wireless security is included in the form of 128-bit AES keyboard encryption. Logitech hasn't fully outlined platform support but should offer core support for both Macs and PCs.

The Wireless Combo MK520 will be available online later today for $60.
