Sleek Android handset unofficially outed

A tipster has leaked a video of the yet-to-be formally announced Dell Thunder. Engadget reports that the previously render-only Android 2.1 flagship handset incorporates an eight megapixel camera which is 720p video capable. The prototype is purported to be running a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and is expected to be released with 3G initially, followed by an LTE version in 2011.

It includes a removable 1,400mAh battery and a large 4.1-inch OLED display with a minimum 800x480 resolution. While the prototype was running a plain version of Android, it is anticipated that it will be skinned with Dell's custom Stage UI when it ships later this year. Android 2.2 hasn't been mentioned but remains a possibility.
