Case looks like vintage book, doubles as stand
Twelve South has launched a faux book case for iPads, BookBook. When closed, the case is designed to disguise the iPad to look like a vintage book, with hardback covers and a rigid spine on the left side of the case. The case is hand stitched and distressed for an aged look, while a hard frame helps to protect the iPad. A string sewn into the inner cover can be attached to a button on the opposite side and used as a stand.
The case zips closed and has a scratch-free inner lining -- the iPad is held in place by two soft leather corners and an elastic band. BookBook allows access to all ports, with dual zippers enabling separate access to the headphone and dock connections.
The new case comes in black or red trim, each priced at $70 with free shipping for a limited time.
