MSI FX600 notebook confirmed for North America

MSI has announced its second new notebook for North America on Monday, the 15.6-inch FX600. Just like the FX400, it was introduced back in March at CeBit and is powered by a Core i5 CPU, this one rated at 2.66GHz. The same 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 325M graphics processor is present, while RAM is set at 4GB.

The FX600 also gets four THX-certified speakers, and a 500GB hard drive is standard. It alone has a 720p-capable webcam that can record at 30FPS, with the only sacrifice a 1366x768 screen. A six-cell battery is present, and the notebook weighs 5.3lbs.

The FX600 costs $900 and should be available today or soon after.
