BlackBerry 9670 due at Sprint this year
The BlackBerry 9670 flip phone, which has been billed for a release at US Cellular as well as Verizon, will also be coming to Sprint, BGR reported. Several pre-release Sprint-badged handsets have supposedly been seen in testing. The new model would reach the carrier in the next couple of months.
The handset will be the first BlackBerry device to have a full hardware QWERTY keyboard attached to a clamshell screen. It is expected to get a 5-megapixel camera and ship with BlackBerry 6. The handset will support CDMA networks and sport Wi-Fi.
Pricing or release dates are unknown, but the 9670 is more than likely to arrive at all its US carriers before the year is out.
