Other analysts shed doubt on rumors

OmniVision shares slipped on Monday as unconfirmed rumors suggest the company has lost part of its Apple business to rival component maker Sony. The rumors appear to be related to camera sensors in the next version of the iPhone.

Other analysts claim it is unlikely that Apple has already selected suppliers for the upcoming iPhone. Others suggest it is also doubtful that Apple would choose to buy components from Sony, as the latter company uses its sensors in Sony Ericcson handsets that compete with the iPhone.
