PS3 160GB and 320GB versions ship soon
Sony used the Gamescom expo today to bring its 160GB and 320GB PS3 systems to the US. Both are direct replacements for the 120GB and 250GB consoles and use the same slim design as before, although they will ship only in black where their Japanese counterparts have a white option. The 160GB model is already shipping and will cost the same $299.
The 320GB version is special and will only be available in the promised PlayStation Move bundle. It packs all the necessary hardware to start with the motion controller, including the PlayStation Eye camera, a single wand controller and Sports Champions. The price of the high-end console will move up $50 to $399 as a result. Sony ships the 320GB console the same day as Move itself, on September 19.
The two PS3s will be the first to explicitly support disc-free Netflix, although it's not yet known if the streaming video option will be preloaded or require the same firmware update coming to older machines.
