Panasonic announced on Tuesday it has now allowed owners of Viera plasma TVs to post Twitter messages using these devices. This functionality is also due to arrive soon for the company's Blu-ray players. Viera CAST Panasonic devices can access the Internet.

The current lineup can already make Skype voice and video calls, access Netflix and Pandora, as well as get info from Fox Sports. There is also access to Amazon VOD, YouTube, Google's Picasa Web Album, Bloomberg and a weather service.

Panasonic's Internet-enabled TVs include the VT25- and VT20-, G25- and G20-series. Blu-ray players with Internet access that will soon be upgraded to get Twitter will include the BDT350, BDT30, BD85, BD70V, BD65 and portable B500.

    great news!

Nowadays, social networking sites such as Twitter has been a big part of most people's lives. With today's technology, you can access Twitter almost anywhere you are, and with this new feature from Panasonic, you can get to it even in the comfort of your own living room. Most of these devices can be connected wirelessly via WiFi connection, and having a wireless rotuer in your home can really help. Anyway, speaking of wireless routers, if you're looking for a good one, I recommend you check out the Netgear Wireless Router for Video and Gaming. You can use this device to connect computers, gaming consoles, notebooks, or wireless printers, and also your networked home theater devices. You can also use this to stream video and music from a USB drive to media players and DLNA TV's, even without using a computer. Not that's one powerful wireless router for you.
