i-Mego to launch new headphones
Plustek has released the SmartOffice PS286 Plus, a scanner that builds upon the existing PS282, while i-Mego has detailed its plans for the upcoming IFA consumer show.
Plustek has announced the release of its new SmartOffice PS286 Plus document scanner. The latest scanner is a set up from the previously launched SmartOffice PS282, adding faster duplex scan speed, scan to FTP via DocAction, and the ability to scan A3 sized documents via internal image stitching. The SmartOffice PS286 Plus also features a 50-page auto document feeder, and is designed to scan business cards, ID cards, and drivers licences without operator adjustments. Additionally, the scanner is accompanied by a software package, including ABBYY FineReader Sprint software, which allows user to create and manage searchable PDFs. The Plustek scanner ca be purchased from authorized resellers and carries a MSRP of $450.
At this years IFA 2010 international consumers electronic show in Berlin, i-Mego will be launching two new sets of headphones. The new products include the Retro Infinity Xmas Limited Edition, a premium version of i-Mego's top of the line Retro headphones, and the Earth Series, an eco-friendly set of headphones. The Retro Infinity features a special leather and velvet headband, along with updated parts for improved audio quality, while the Earth Series incorporates a globe design, and eco-friendly materials and packaging. Official pricing information has yet to be released, however the company has announced that the products will become available in September.
