PDP announces mounts for Microsoft Kinect

Performance Designed Products (PDP) this week announced it will release official mounting accessories for the Microsoft Kinect motion controller due out this November. This includes a wall and TV mount, a floor stand and a cable extension. The wall mount will let the Kinect attach directly to a user's wall, and will cost $15.

The TV mount will use the VESA mounts on the rear of TVs sized at between 26 and 60 inches. It will cost $40. The $30 floor stand includes a large tripod base and has a secure locking mechanism for the sensor. The dearest accessory is the $50 extension cable, which lets gamers place the sensor nine feet further from the Xbox 360.

The accessories will ship in November to coincide with the release of the Kinect itself.
