Samsung Bada SKD out of Beta, brings remote tests

Samsung's software developer kit (SDK) for its Bada mobile operating system has now exited its beta test phase and is in version 1.0. Registered developers can get more information on and download the latest SDK from the developer site. The new build brings with it the ability to remotely test the software on other devices.

The first handset to run on Bada is the Samsung Wave, first revealed in February. The OS uses TouchWiz 3.0 to handle widgets and supports up to 10 home screens. There is an inbox that merges social network updates and contacts with IM programs and e-mails. Basic Flash is integrated, and a central app store will be launched in 50 countries in 2010. The Wave uses a 3.3-inch, 800x480-pixel Super AMOLED touchscreen. [via MobileBurn]
