UI takes heavily from iPad design

Following several leaks and an official teaser for Samsung's Galaxy Tab, the device has surfaced in the wild yet again. The latest video, posted by Korean news outlet The Digital Times, focuses on Samsung's customized interface that sits atop Android 2.2.

The company appears to have taken inspiration from the iPad UI, as the Tab utilizes a similar keyboard, app layout, and page management system. Corroborating earlier reports, the also shows a Swype implementation for the keyboard.

The Tab is expected to integrate a seven-inch 1024x600 display, dual cameras, 16GB of internal storage, and GPS components. Samsung's teaser places the formal debut date on September 2, right before the IFA show begins in Berlin. [via Digital Times]
