Review: Seagate GoFlex line

updated 03:55 pm EDT, Sun August 29, 2010

We review Seagate GoFlex 3TB Drive, Net, TV

Seagate has been synonymous with storage for decades, but it has often followed a relatively conservative path. GoFlex changes that; it promises to keep external hard drives almost futureproof by making the ports as removable as the drives themselves. With that in mind, we've made a comprehensive review of the main GoFlex lineup, including the GoFlex TV media hub, GoFlex Net network-attached storage hub, and the range-topping 3TB GoFlex Desk external drive.

    How Retro!

    Wow! Dongles! I remember 1995.

Iomega used to do this as well. Future-proof?! I can still connect almost every single external hard drive that I ever bought to my newest 8-core Mac Pro today. Sure, to connect *every* hard drive I'd have to buy a SCSI card, but, . . .

    Yawn.

    cool stuff!

This is a great option for top-of-the-line HD media players available in the market today. If it's no trouble, allow me to add one more to your lists. Check out Netgear's NeoTV™ 550 Ultimate HD Media Player. With this HD media player, you can play your digital movies in full high definition 1080p and stunning Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound, along with other great features. For additional information about the Netgear NeoTV™ 550 Ultimate HD Media Player, please refer to this link, http://bit.ly/bByST7. I'm sure you'll love this one as well.
