CyberPower outs Fang EVO series gaming PCs

CyberPower on Monday introduced new Fang Series Evo enhancements for its gaming PCs aimed at hardcore gamers. This includes a custom hydro liquid cooling kit on each PC, including the Black Mamba, Cobra, Viper and Rattler. The kit is made up of a XSPC Rasa Acetal CPU Block, a 750lph low-noise pump and either 240mm or 360mm radiators; the combo cools the CPU, graphic cards and chipset even at higher than stock speeds.

The four Fang PCs also ship with Venom Boost overclocking technology. The Black Mamba includes a Core i7-980X processor overclocked to 4.33GHz with 12GB of DDR3 RAM. There are two liquid cooled NVIDIA GTX 480 graphics cards set up in an SLI configuration, along with a pair of 64GB SSD drives and a 2TB hard drive. A 4X Blu-ray drive and DVD burner combo are standard fare.

The Fang-spec Cobra sports an overclocked 3.84GHz Core i7 along with 6GB of DDR3 RAM. There is one NVIDIA GTX 470 graphics card onboard and one 1TB SATA II, 7,200RPM hard drive paired with a 22X DVD burner. The Viper has a Core i7 boosted to 3.37GHz and 6GB of DDR3 RAM. An ATI Radeon HD 5770 handles graphics processing. Otherwise, there is a 1TB hard drive and a 22X DVD drive. Finally, the Rattler has a boosted 3.22GHz Core i7 and 4GB of RAM, along with a 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5670. A 1TB hard drive and 22X DVD writer are standard.

All four have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit preloaded and integrate USB 3.0 ports and 6Gbps SATA interfaces. Fang Series Evo systems start at $999.
