802.11n Wi-Fi, 1900 GPRS confirmed

Samsung's Galaxy Tab has emerged in FCC documents, providing insight surrounding the tablet's potential cellular carriers. The device is listed with the model number SHW-M180S, while the FCC tests appear to confirm support for 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1900MHz GPRS connectivity.

Although the documents point to a 2G standard supported by carriers such as AT&T, there is no reference to a 3G standard. The filing also lacks any mention of CDMA support, despite earlier rumors that the tablet had arrived in Verizon's inventory system.

The Tab is expected to feature a 1024x600 OLED touchscreen, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and 16GB of integrated storage. Other leaked specs include dual cameras and Samsung's TouchWiz interface atop Android 2.2.

The tablet has been confirmed for a formal unveiling on Thursday at the IFA show in Berlin. [via wireless goodness]
