Worth Ave Group has emerged as a top contender among companies offering insurance or warranty coverage for iPhones. The company offers one of the most flexible and comprehensive insurance plans, at a fraction of the prices charged by AT&T or Best Buy for extended warranties.

Enrollees remain fully covered while traveling, even if the iPhone is stolen or damaged in another country. Worldwide coverage is a significant benefit, as cellphones may be more likely to be stolen or damaged in foreign countries. Best Buy and AT&T do not cover devices outside of the US, while Safeware charges an additional premium to add international protection.

Policies can be obtained at any time, with unlimited replacements and no waiting period for claims processing. Many of the competing warranty options require customers to sign up within the first few weeks or months, with only one or two replacement devices provided if needed. Best Buy only allows enrollees to obtain a single replacement throughout a two-year time frame, while AT&T's expensive plan is limited to two replacements. Worth Ave also lacks a waiting period for claims processing.

Worth Ave Group insurance protects against a wide range of issues including accidental damage, liquid spills, water submersion, power surge, theft, fire, flood, and vandalism. The most expensive plans, offered through Best Buy and AT&T, do not extend coverage to stolen devices or damage caused by fire, water submersion or vandalism. SquareTrade's plan lacks protection against theft, fire, flood, or vandalism. Worth Ave Group is also the only provider that covers peripherals.

AT&T charges approximately $167 for a one-year extended warranty, while Best Buy plans cost $179 for the same period. For just $63, Worth Ave Group will insure a 16GB iPhone 3GS for a year. The company also covers the iPhone 4 for $89, with a special discount currently bringing the price down to $80.10.

They also have equally solid coverage for laptops, iPads, and other cell phones. Additional information is available directly from the company's website site at http://www.worthavegroup.com.
